Her recollections of all that she has seen before. The tools of the trade that others have created for her. Perhaps most influential, the hopes and fears of what might or might not occur.

No artist, at least in their early days, creates from a place of emptiness. Instead, it is as Michelangelo said of sculpting David—less a process of carving out something from nothing, and more a carving away of all that is not our masterpiece.

Certainly this is the process in the art of creating an authentic life. . ."

Lakes of tears can not wash away remorse, nor rid a human soul of sorrow. We come to this place to heal our wounds, living the collective consciousness through individual experience.

We are the Great Experiment, we on this Earth. We live each of our nano-moments under the cosmic microscope and dance on ever-balancing scales, which we polish with pride through our achievements, driven by our passions.

Our hopes, prayers, and visions float upwards whether we intend them or not into the heart of the savior whose hands we are, whose eyes brim with our own salt tears.

We fall in love with people who try our patience and lift our spirits within the span of thirty minutes.

Our friends insist on loving us despite our ornery insistence on living our lives the way we want.

We lose sight too often of the possibility that we are here to enjoy ourselves.

The best possible relationship between two people is a balanced sharing, without dependency. We cannot really be responsibility for other adults. Attempts to do this usually lead us very quickly to examine our own boundary issues. The idea of responsibility is not to lay the blame on anyone, rather it allows us the freedom to choose what we prefer.

In a balanced relationship, each of us can still do what we prefer to do. We don't have to change our lives just because someone else disapproves. There is no reason to attempt to be anything that we are not. Doing that only brings us more of what we are not. We will only become more uncomfortable, unhappy, unhealthy, and unsuccessful, if we keep trying to be something we are not. It is vital to express who we are, be who we are, and say what we think. We should only change our lives because we choose to, and because we are becoming more completely the real us. If we know we are functioning in true personal integrity, even if others around us don't like it or want us to change, we continue to be who we are.

If we are doing what we enjoy and love in life, it very quickly provides us confirmation of who we really are. The idea is always to relax, have fun and be ourselves. Remember, anyone we attract into our lives by being ourselves belongs in our lives.

Imagine living in a beautiful area of the country surrounded by gentle mountains and thousands of acres of grassy plains. Imagine that it has all come into fruition due to a faith in the ability to manifest one's dreams by listening to angels.

Each day I am blessed with the opportunity to encounter antelope, deer, coyotes, javelina, and cattle near the eleven acre ranch I share with my husband. Part of our property is a mountain we call Angel Mountain because of our strong faith in angelic guidance. One morning recently, I was hiking Angel Mountain and I asked my angels to lead me. Wherever they wished me to walk, I followed their instruction. It was great fun! Suddenly, I had a spiritual revelation. My angels had reminded me of a valuable lesson. I need not worry about how I would reach my destination, I need only concern myself with each step. As I looked out at the vastness of the land, my route home seemed long and difficult, but if I concentrated only on the next step that was revealed to me, then I felt safe, secure, and at peace.

As I neared my journey's end, my angels asked me to walk in the opposite direction of the house. I put my trust in them and acquiesced. As I surrendered to my angels' request, I saw a beautiful male deer gracefully prancing across the mountainous slope. A gorgeous sight! Angels will guide you to glorious surprises along your spiritual journey if you learn to listen. Then dream, trust, and surrender!

It is 3:30AM and the Universe has awoken me from sound sleep. I will put to words the vision I was given.The life we live is so very fragile and changeable - our family, job, relationships and health are all like gossamer strings swaying in the wind - so delicate and fine - the threads of Light of our existence - our Spirit and it's extensions outward. The strings don't bind, or limit us, instead, they flex and stretch and allow for who we are. The strings play a melody - our unique melody - our I AM. Like the pages of a very old book - worn, and paper thin, they must, however, be treated with respect and honored or they will crumble and disappear. As we add new pages to our book, our experiences make for a new, stronger substance for the journaling/journeying of our Spirit and so it is, and so it shall be - a simple message and yet, so complex.

In a recent interview, twelve year old poet Mattie Stepanek was asked "Why do you write poetry?" He answered, "It's my heart song. I believe we all have a heart song waiting to be expressed." Are you expressing your heart song?

Expressing your heart song is expressing your creative energy. Julia Cameron writes in The Artist Way, "Creativity is God's gift to us, using our creativity is our gift back to God." Creativity is our connection to Spirit. The world needs our creative energy at this time. If you have been thinking about or planning a creative project this is the time to do it. Paint, write, sing a song, dance, prepare a meal for family and friends or do all of the above.

I just return from the Dominica School, in the Dominican Republic, which Dominica, an orphan herself, started 12 years ago with her brother, Alexis. I have helped them off and on for the past 8 years. I choose my vacation time in the winter and take 3 to 4 kids at the beach hotel with me. It is very rewarding as they give so much love and joy.

I am ecstatic because I found out that Dominica can make up to $500 a month per class if she manages her budget well. There is always an emergency with a sick kid, etc. She can then go to the bank and borrow to build the other 6 classrooms that she wants to move from the super crowded house where 24 children live.

That is quite a switch from relying totally on donations to feed the orphans, to becoming an entrepreneur. And she is quite capable having a Master in psychology.

While she supports 48 children with free food, education, clothing, medical emergency and lodging to half of them, she now can visualize her own house for her 2 children and their education.
