ASCENSION MUSIC
By Andrea Arrowsmith

It is well known the keynote of the new millennium is love and spirituality. Cosmologies connect universal patterns of the whole and parts with numerical, spiritual and psychological meaning. It is not as well known that a new genre of music helps us FEEL our spiritual connection to all things. When the ascension becomes our own personal experience of reality we help raise our planet to higher principles, being with culture, faith with science and healing to it’s fullness in spirituality. Inner music measured in atoms is now an outer power for spiritual ascension. Harmony frees our higher minds to synthesize inner and outer levels of consciousness as one equal music. The technique of focusing on God in the Highest (whatever one may think that to be) goes along with the new music form as a way of learning that intersects the different planes of thought. This type of learning replaces the old way of information gathering by intellectual means alone. The old way, in comparison with the new, intuition and revelation, is like using a manual typewriter instead of a computer. To find out how many ways this new music can help you during the ascension by visiting my site HealingSoulSongs.com. May God bless you in your personal work to spiritualize our earth.

BEING MASTERFULLY HUMAN
By Aluna Joy Yaxk’in

"Life is not about being a master in a human body, but being a human masterfully!"

Who said that if you lived consciously nothing bad or challenging would ever happen to you? Who told you would never get sick, have a lover leave you, have a loved one die, have a car accident, or make a bad choice, huh? Who ever said that walking the spiritual path would be a piece of cake, easy as pie? Come on now, stand up, and lets take a look at your life, because I could use a good example to follow.

When a friend asks you how you are, do hide the fact that day you might feel miserable? Do you respond to your friends by saying "Hey I am great, its all perfect!" Why do we hide the truth and hide ourselves from each other. Why are we so afraid of being judged for being human, for having a down day. How often have you felt like eating a pint of ice cream and hid the carton at the bottom of the shopping cart away from the curious eyes? Why is it that we do not allow each other to be human with all our amazing qualities and frailties? Where is the non-judgment, the compassion, and why is having human vulnerabilities means your not on a spiritual path, not heading for spiritual graduation?

Welcome everyone to HUMAN MASTERY 101. I’ll have to say that at times I felt I was not getting good grades in this class. In fact sometimes I felt like I was failing altogether and wishing I could drop the course. Guess I have been judging myself. But the fact is that if you and I are in a human body we are not getting out of this class without a few major challenges, illnesses and bad choices. And YES, we will get judged for these at the very time we need support. So what do we do, we try harder to be perfect and work harder to hide our human vulnerabilities. But soon the law called being human rears it ugly head and takes us down another peg, another wrung of the ladder, with the next challenge. Sometimes don’t you wish you could stick your head in the sand to avoid further persecution. But sadly we can not avoid persecution from ourselves. . . . SPEAKING YOUR TRUTH
By Ashleea

After writing my last article for the 1 Spirit newsletter, I received some surprising feedback about Andy Rooney. Several shared with me that they enjoyed my spiritual riff on 'I Have Learned'. However, they found Andy to be too sarcastic, too grouchy. He rubbed them the wrong way with his demeanor and words. Their feedback started me to consider the backlash of speaking your truth.

In my perception, Andy speaks his truth in a powerful and humorous way, and I respect him for this. I admire anyone who has the character and courage to voice their truth, either in the written word or in any one-on-one exchange. I seek this quality in the friends I choose. When something is held back and not expressed, I feel it on some level, and it makes me uncomfortable until it is expressed. However, I concede that not everyone is comfortable with others speaking their truth.

Speaking your truth can be risky business. How you speak it can endear or alienate others. Is it done humorously, tactfully, or recklessly? Are you ready to be confrontive? How far are you ready to go to lay-it-on-the-line? Are you ready to risk humiliation, censure or worse? How much fear do you have about speaking your truth or hearing the full disclosure from others? Would you prefer to live in denial? These are some of the basic challenges that many have when it comes to speaking their truth or opening to the truth of others. This is a very big subject.

Speaking Your Truth is an issue that is UP for everyone. Including myself. I frequently check-in with my core being and determine if I have surrendered all of me in my speaking, writing and relationships. How far have I been willing to go in expressing my authentic self? Am I fearful of going-out-on-the-limb? How much information am I allowing or denying?

I sense that there will come a time very shortly when hiding our truth will be impossible, and whether we like it or not, our individual truth/stance/feelings will be seen, heard, or felt by others. Perhaps the new Indigo & Crystal Children are going to lead us to this new way of being. Even though this new way may make some feel vulnerable and others fearful or angry, the revelations will begin our planetary healing, of that I am sure.

WE ARE ADAM AND EVE
By Bobbie Bowden

We come to newness when our habit has worn too thin to clothe - or cloak - the disguised self. In our newness, we perceive ourselves as closer to who we really are. This time, we say to ourselves, I am farther along than where I last stood.

But, oh, the wearing thin wears the spirit and the body down. This is the earthly travail that is our inheritance from Adam and Eve's culinary experiment, to take a mythical view of what we put ourselves through.

Adam and Eve did not understand - as they ate from the tree of understanding - that in doing so, they were ousting themselves from the only existence they knew. And unless the snake let on more than our story tells us, the primordial couple didn't even know there was an "out there" to which to be banished.

We, Adam and Eve in every new situation, take risks because it's our nature to do so. Sometimes we are lucky or patient enough to notice the reward of the risk, and sometimes we're not, but without letting our guts and hearts lead us against the advice of our inner accountants, well, we wouldn't be human. When we resist change, we suffer, because as painful as it is to step outside the garden, knowing that every step we take banishes us from the only world we were sure of, without taking those steps off the cliff once in a while, we fester, mold, and rot.

Please take a look at my web site, and see the beauty of who we are without our ego disguises. Back to T of C.
ANIMALS OF SPIRIT
By Catherine Ceci

Hello Friends,
I have started an E-Newsletter titled "Animals of Spirit" where I will be sharing the stories from the animals and answering questions about Animal Communication.

The first issue (Feb 2002) article is "When An Animal Dies.... Helping Others with Grief". This article describes the feelings of loss that are not commonly discussed such as what happens with the body of the person when their animal companion leaves the physical world.

A deeper understanding of what is called death helps us to see the incredible mission of service that our animal friends give to us. When my beloved Psa passed (see In Memory of Psa link on my web site) I felt her lifting the energies of some very difficult phases of my life, with her into the Transmuting Light and Love of God.

The article in this newsletter also describes ways to help a person who has been through the loss of their animal friend. From taking your own animals to visit to understanding what has happened in their energy field and how the body grieves.

If you would like to receive a copy just visit my web site and e-mail me to put you on the Newsletter list. Thank you. Love, Catherine. Back to T of C.
UNDER-ESTIMATING THE EFFECTS
By Dr. Barbara LaRocca

We have all been recovering our sense of balance from the events of 2001. From the events of September 11, the posttraumatic stress is an under-estimated experience in those who did not experience a direct loss-and an all-present experience for those who lost someone. There is also another stressor in the form of a major spiritual energy download.

The energy download began before September 11, 2001. It came in the form of dreams, restless nights, synchronicities, meetings with other old souls, and a general disruption in one's ability to function in old and familiar patters. This disruption left us without old defense systems and we have yet to firmly establish the new safety.

One of the main ways to combat this trauma is to admit to ourselves that something is different, uncomfortable, and even depressing. Whatever form it takes needs to be acknowledged, accepted, and gently held. You are not alone. We are all feeling like aliens in our own skin. The changes/trauma cannot be underestimated just because our individual worlds haven't altered on the exterior. Treat yourself gently; continue to rebuild a new and "earthquake proof" well-being by seeking out classes, practices, spiritual connections, and rejuvenation in nature.

Reaching out at this time will bring greater results than before. Many people are reporting that they have fallen in love with an appropriate and fulfilling mate, while others are embarking on new careers, travel, and more. What will this change bring for you? (Dr. Barbara LaRocca, healings and readings 510-658-4337, writes for Crystalwings.com)

CHALLENGING SITUATIONS
by Ken Page

Challenging situations are not in our lives to show us that we are stuck with this reality or that we are bad people. Such situations happen to offer us a reflection of what we think about ourselves or what we feel we deserve. If we find ourselves in situations that we do not prefer, we have given ourselves a very clear opportunity to change.

One way to allow ourselves a chance discover who and what we are is by creating so many examples that represent who we are not. This is a very effective method of validating our true and natural selves by the simple process of elimination. Looking back on different relationships, we might say, "That wasn't me, and that wasn't me either. This is what I really am all about."

Why would any of us create a whole series of wrong relationships or situations? The reason itself is basically very simple. Either we have forgotten who we are, or we are afraid to accept who we are. Who we are is actually our naturally centered selves in a state of balance and complete self-acceptance. As long as we resist being our true selves, we will not attract harmonious, long lasting, or healthy relationships.

Once we become true to ourselves, we automatically attract the right people even as we move through changes. If someone decides to change or leave a relationship with us, realize that his or her energy is no longer in harmony with us. By understanding this, even if someone leaves, nothing will really be missing. We cannot miss anything from a vibration that we are not truly a part of.

ASTROLOGY, NUMBERS AND YOUR LIFE MISSION
By Patty Finlayson, PMA

Do you ever wonder how astrology and numbers can help you figure out your mission in life?

Your horoscope is a pattern laid out by your soul before birth to help you map your journey through this particular embodiment. There are several ways of discovering your mission. One can be to look at the Moon's nodes, another is to combine the basic interpretation of the numbers in your name and birthday with the overall pattern in your horoscope.

Let us say you have an over abundance of one number. This can be a strong indication of the qualities you want to express this lifetime. Look to the astrological signs in your horoscope that this number corresponds to in order to confirm this. For instance, if you have many number ones, do you also have planets in Aries or planets in the first house? This reemphasizes the dynamic initiative represented by both one and Aries. Your soul could be telling you that you want to be active, creative and fearless. If you also have the north node in Aries you can be sure that you are to learn to be independent with your creativity, not leaning on partnership. Others may think you are selfish sometimes, but that is your way of not being dependent.

A lot of planets in the four houses of activity; first, fourth, seventh and tenth indicate initiative, and leadership. An in-depth look at this is in the new article on my website. Back to T of C.
LAUGHTER AND TERRORISM
by SIRROM

Laughter is called "The best medicine," particularly in dark days. Practical jokes and laughter are needed now more than ever.

Consider the September 11, 2001 terrorism. It may have been the most frightening large-scale event since antiquity. For most people, it was extremely stressful. Therefore, we use laughter as a mechanical device to give " release " of stress.

We are not laughing at the September 11th tragedy, but using nature's way of releasing stress caused by that tragedy. Even the TV and nightclub comedians made jokes about the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. Why? Because even in our tragedies we needed some laughter.

RELATING OR "IT'S A CAT'S LIFE"
by Debra White Burch

In trying to resolve a major upset in a relationship, a very simple model was related to me. My inner voice broke through with the words "watch the cats." The understanding that came follows. I have two cats, one is male, one is female - like a typical human relationship. They both get hairballs, enjoy sitting in the sunshine, using a litter box, eating, drinking, catnapping - the basics - like human basics. The female is the caretaker - constantly cleaning herself, the affectionate one - always looking for a headrub or hugs and kisses and very protective of her family and home. The male is the stalker - always looking to pounce and play, the loud talker - expecting his desires to be met, the laid back observer - seeking detachment. Problems arise when boundaries are overrun, such as when the female tries a little too hard to impose her desire for cleanliness on the male, or the male tries to stalk and pounce on the female once too often, then the paw swatting begins.

Humans are very similar. There are certain basic male/female tendencies in each of us, in varying degrees, regardless, invisible borders do exist for each of us and must be respected, and when they are crossed problems arise. The KEY is being AWARE of and RESPECTING each others tendencies and borders and also realizing that they may change and ALLOWING for that. In very simple terms, that is what UNCONDITIONAL LOVE is really all about. So the next time "the hair is flying" in your life, think of this simple model and perhaps things will come out "purrty good."

THE ACT OF CRUCIFIXION: A PRACTICAL APPLICATION
By Janny Adkins, RN, BS, HNC

For most of my life I have been taught and subsequently believed crucifixion to be an act of torture. This act of torture and suffering was taught to be necessary for Jesus of Nazareth to endure as the "savior of humanity." I looked upon this brutal experience of suffering as a requirement for Jesus to ascend. In other words, crucifixion was an ancient act of punishment and did not have any relevance to my life. As Easter approaches, and the details of Jesus' crucifixion are brought to mind, I have been urged to share my experience and the personal revelation about crucifixion that occurred in December of 2000. I was entangled in the tethers of loneliness and depression as a result of intense personal changes that had occurred. For the first time in my life, I found myself totally alone. Well, it felt totally alone because I had no one living with me for whom I needed to care for. It had taken 54 years for me to arrive at this spiritual crossroads. From the depths of loneliness and depression, I discovered the personal and transformational aspect of the crucifixion process. I now know that the crucifixion process is a very real and personal process. It involves allowing our fears, anger, hate, and sense of separation from God to die on the cross of our ego/intellect. This then resurrects our fears into love, hope, faith compassion and peace. This process is absolutely necessary for the ascension of humanity and the world.

When I remember that lonely night in December, can still remember the feelings of sadness and I can bring tears to my eyes. I was sitting at the kitchen table of a dear friends home. I was house sitting for them as they were traveling. We had 13 inches of snow on the ground, and the wind was howling and it was bitterly cold. I dislike winter, which was another factor in my depression and feelings of loneliness. The house seems so empty and hollow. No one needed me to help them, or to do something for them. I was alone with my feelings of inadequacy, loneliness and raw fear. I began to cry..... sob actually, when I heard in my mind a voice that said, "My God, My God, why has Thou forsaken me?" Of course I recognized Jesus' words of anguish from the cross. Then I knew in that instant that Jesus had not been afraid of the pain or suffering as he hung on the cross. He was afraid of the loneliness and separation and feelings of abandonment by God, His Father, (these feelings of isolation and abandonment are all a part of the human experience). I also knew in that moment that I was experiencing that same loneliness and feeling of abandonment, and that we were brother/sister in that experience, as Jesus is a brother to all of humanity.

This experience had a profound influence on my thinking regarding the practical aspects of crucifying and ascending the fear, loneliness, and separation from our true God Selves. This process has real application to those individuals who desire to integrate their spirituality into their daily lives. We hang our fears on the cross of our intellect and ego to allow them to die, thereby allowing our fears to release their control over our actions. Our feelings become conscious. We then replace the fear with love....for ourselves, and others ... and we remember our Oneness with God/Spirit,Humanity and Gaia. There is no separation. The illusion of separation that is the Earth Experience is crucified. In the ascension process, crucifixion, and resurrection are processes that when experienced in the present moment, ascend and evolve our life experience, Humanity's collective unconsciousness, and Mother Earth.

I WAS HEALED BY THE DOLPHINS
by Marie Allizon

I just returned from Jamaica where I swam with the dolphins for 45 minutes at the Dolphin Cove*. I swam in the wild with dolphins in Delaware, but never for this long and this close!

I arrived early so that I would have plenty of time to speak to the dolphins before hand and tell them how much I love and appreciate them for all the work they do for the planet. I thanked them for their incredible patience with the human race. I also asked them for a healing: my knee had been bothering me for the last 4 months, and I wanted to clear issues with my father that might still be in my unconscious.

After removal of all rings and jewelry that might hurt their skin, our trainer had us touch the dolphins: their skin is so soft. Then one by one we got to kiss the dolphin (see the picture on the link below). After 7 or 8 of our kisses, the dolphin was satisfied. We then watch her incredible jumps. Three days later, my body went through an huge release, my knee no longer hurt, and my father is the best I could have had!

What I did not know is that I was in the water the day Thomas and the Psychic children released their second message: "The psyche of the Children of Oz is aligned with the whales, and in particular, the dolphins of the oceans. Therefore, look to these creatures to know which world your collective consciousness has chosen. If within two year you begin to hear reports of unusual activity in the oceans, of entire pods of dolphins that gather in highly populated urban areas, or whales that exhibit similar behavior, know you have chosen love over fear."

Let a man strive to purify his thoughts. What a man thinketh, that is he; this is the eternal mystery.

Dwelling within himself with thoughts serene, he will obtain imperishable happiness.
