We’re all going through strange times. One way or another, we’re all feeling changes happening in our lives, some of them unwelcome. There’s no way to get around being affected by the state of the world today. There’s so much tension and fear in the world, and not enough faith.

We have to have faith that better times are coming. We have to know in our hearts that whatever happens, we will prevail. We have to believe that we can move forward, no matter what seems to be pulling us backward, or holding us down.

We humans are stronger than we think we are. We have so much going for us. We have this beautiful world to live in, we have our families, our friends, and the sun comes up tomorrow no matter what. Things may be difficult in your corner of the world, whether it’s internal difficulties, or the pressure of whatever is going on where you live. We all have challenges to meet and survive.

And survive we do. You may not be living your optimal life, but you have the chance to move forward and keep working to create that life for yourself. You don’t have to be the victim of circumstances for long. When bad things happen, you get to pick yourself up and start again.

Some of us have wonderful, supportive friends close by. Some of us feel alone and closed off in our lives. But we all have the miracle of the Internet now, and can reach out across the world to people we’ll never touch or hold, and be their friend. No one is alone any more unless they choose to be. We are all here together right now, reading these words. There is power in numbers.

We are all united in our common goal to spread the light of love throughout the world. That is why we gather here in the loving space that Troika has created for us to share. We read the Spirit Voice Newsletter and look for signs of hope and encouragement, to know that the world is moving in a positive direction.

We are the movers. Each one of us has a kernel of loving energy inside ourselves that we share with the world every time we send love out in any form. Sometimes it’s as simple as sending a friend you haven’t heard from in a while a note to say you’re there. At times it’s as complex as writing to your government about making positive changes. It’s enough to smile at a stranger when you go to the market. It all matters.

I sit here at the computer alone with my dogs, yet I know that there are thousands of people out there somewhere on this planet who will read my thoughts, and hear the truth of what I say. This is the true power that we each have. We can choose to share our positive thoughts, or we can stay quiet in the world, but no matter what we do, the energies that we put out every single day make a difference.

There is now much interest in Spikenard (Nardostachys jatamansi), probably due to James Twyman, and I am often asked if it is one of the 16 Essential Oils in Violet Star. YES, it definitely is. There are also passages to another Nard anointing, upon Jesus' head, (Mark 14:3 & Matthew 26:6) by an unnamed woman. This could possibly be Mary Magdalene but that event also took place in Bethany, and relates the same conversation, which could be the same event with the details of head or feet remembered differently by John (feet) and Mark & Matthew (head).

Spiritually, Mikael Zayat says that Nard helps us realize that our life on earth is not separated from the true purpose of creation. It helps strengthen the alchemy between matter and spirit, symbolized by the cosmic serpent that links the beginning and the end by biting its tail. Nard reveals the secret path to the seeker who tries hard with an open heart.

My Inner Guidance adds that Spikenard prepares us, as it did Jesus, to accept and surrender in order to attain our Ascension. The fact that both the head and feet were the areas of Anointment tells me that the Crown was opened to receive the Divine energies which were then grounded into His entire body and passed by the feet (also called Soul) into the earth. Essential oils go to the essence of things. In the highly developed, technical world we live in, we have come to depend on many things that are not essential. We are here in a garden created especially for us to be shared and enjoyed. We experience everything through our senses -touch, taste, smell, seeing and hearing- and through these we truly come to know our environment.

One cannot visit the garden all at once. You can view it all from above, but from that level you are not able to see all of the different stages of growth and the beauty of each flower. Some of the most fragile and delicate flowers are so tiny that you have to be a small child to even notice them -under the shrubs and bushes. Usually we are so busy looking ahead and above, we don't notice the small gems on our path as we walk on them and crush them, unaware of the loss.

The sense of smell is directly linked to the central brain which is the base of our emotions and spiritual connection. Alchemy is the transformation of our heaviness and darkness into light. Everyone has the potential to be an alchemist. It is through our heaviness that we come to know our lessons. We need to have this part of the balance in our lives so that we may experience the creativity of transformation. It is only with love and joy that we can do this, not by following any formulas or chemical procedures. We must be present in a field of freedom to accomplish this.

Love is the only thing that can open our hearts. Our work should be accomplished with love and joy, not pressure. The energetics of our work are always made manifest later. Holding these principles in mind, we are now prepared to explore the Alchemy of Therapeutic Essential Oils.

In 1990 while on a over night stay inside Temple of the Sun in Palenque, Mexico, the Star Elders told me something I didn't understand fully at the time. They said that the rules were going to change soon. That the way we relate to the world… the manifest universe, would change. They joked with me and said that a new game was coming, and we are not going to get the rule book. The game and how to play it, will be something we discover over time by obversation.

Here it is 13 years later, and I think I am just starting to understand what they were talking about. I think the rules are beginning to change. We all have been feeling it on a physical level. We have been feeling down right soul tired, getting little headaches and subtle upset stomachs and getting dizzy. We have had mild temputures that have no rhyme or reason and our necks and shoulders are screaming out for help. The ringing in the ears and pressure on the top of our heads is driving us nutty, and the list does not stop here.

We have been feeling this shift on a emotional / spiritual level as well. We have been feeling vulnerable, twisted up like a pretzel, and like a lone boat on a huge ocean without a compass. Personal relationships, and all areas of life, are polarized to the extreme. Days go by to fast or sometimes to slow. Time itself does not feel constant anymore. We just don’t know which way is up, nor many don’t even care anymore. Some are at the brink of giving up. After all what is the point. This is nuts!

Just recently I have been looking at the possibility of even a deeper level of physical and spiritual symptoms that tell us that the new game is upon us. I had the honor to do a session with a young man who the doctors think has cancer. He is exhibiting some powerful symptoms, but to date biopsies return negative. They are not really sure what is going on. He certainly isn’t a text book case and it has the doctors scratching their heads.

In our session when I tuned into him, I didn’t see the usual "cancer" entity that most have when they are diagnosed with cancer. I saw and felt something entirely different. A deep sense of peace permeated the room and when he looked at me it felt like he could see right through me. I felt vulnerable and naked and a little uncomfortable with the intimacy that goes with a one on one session. It was a struggle to make sense of what I was seeing with what I was feeling. I didn’t understand the vision as it seemed to contradict outer appearances. What was going on with his 3D self was nothing close to his energetic self.

After some time digging we discovered together that he was becoming a human bridge between the current world and the new world to come. He has to reach out there so far that he almost leaves his body. The outer appearance of illness is just a vehicle so he can let go enough to travel to amazing places where he has visions and receives teachings. His job is to bridge these visions to where we are now. The really interesting things is that he hasn’t been that spiritual until recently. But here he is, reaching out for something he does not understand and I felt like I was sitting a the feet of Jesus.

This whole thing has had me looking in a new direction. I ask question like…. what are the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual changes will we see as we being to shift? I have already began to look at some of the shifts and how they seam to be effecting us ...

This is a time of change and a time to take manifesting to a new and concrete level. Many of you practice positive thinking or visualizations. The actual manifesting of "heaven on earth" is the next step.

We are manifesting the reality around us and our personal realities at the same time. When enough people get together to manifest a new reality, then that reality can come into being. When you are able to put your "feelings" into your personal reality, then that is manifested.

Get in touch with what creates your heaven on earth. Weed out the doubt, fear, and worry about how, what, where, who, and when. Remember that yearning for something produces more yearning, and emptiness produces more emptiness. Energize and affirm the new realities with emotions of success, love, joy, and the passion of life as well as the connection to Spirit. Flood your images with memories and feelings of success.

Huge changes are coming. The energy level is much higher and crystal power is helping us more than ever. Affirming realities will be more and more effective. Remember to state your desires as "healed" or "loved" or "it is so". Use crystals (hold them so they increase your feelings of success) and prayer to further energize these changes.

There is a wave of rainbow manifesting energy coming thru that needs us to anchor it in the earth plane by visualizing it entering the earth. Earth is receiving a major healing, changes require we connect even more with guidance. Archangels are working alongside us as team rather than being "higher" than us--they are seeing us as equals.

Patience is a skill that anyone can learn. There are two aspects to it, the practical and the spiritual.

Here are some practical tips for developing patience: Don’t procrastinate with important tasks. Schedule trips to public places for times when they won’t be crowded. Allow ample time to get where you’re going. Bring along reading material or music CDs. Go for a walk to dissipate tension and restore mental poise. Count to ten before speaking or acting.

Here are some spiritually based strategies for developing patience.

- Mentally rework those situations that try your patience. Imagine a different approach or perspective, then spin out this scenario in your mind to its most beneficial conclusion for all concerned.

- Talk to yourself, tailoring your interior dialog to the situation. If losing patience with a child, remind yourself how long it took you to learn something. If growing impatient with an adult, ask yourself, “Which is better: judging others or making them feel supported and appreciated?” In general situations, ask yourself, “Who appointed you Czar of the Universe?” Or remind yourself that “This too is part of Divine Order.”

- Write notes to yourself and post them in conspicuous places. At a loss for words? Consider one of these quotations: “Patience and fortitude conquer all things.” -- Ralph Waldo Emerson. “If you are patient in a moment of anger, you will escape a hundred days of sorrow.” -- Chinese Proverb. “He that can have patience can have what he will.” -- Ben Franklin. “The reward of patience is patience.” -- St. Augustine.

- Meditate on patience. That last quotation above is worthy seed for meditation. Going deeply within and contemplating the statement will reveal its deeper meaning.
