Editor's Comments: My goodness, what an "interesting" year so far. Seems as if the proverbial "one thing after another" is in full force! So much so, that for the first time in 10 years, I was unable to publish an issue of Spirit Voice. I am truly sorry for that. Rather than a detailed explanation, let's just say I victoriously over came computer hackers, spammers, identity theft and a major computer crash. What could have been truly devastating was turned into a "minor inconvenience" through the help of the Violet Flame and Higher Dimensional assistance! The help is there for us! Only a few days into 2008 and I have felt an acceleration of purging all the old "junk" I've accumulated in a very tangible sense; I feel the need to get ready for something, wonderful things are on the way. The physical "purge" of my surroundings has been met with an increased awareness of what non-physical energies I need to release as well (old programs, beliefs, fears, insecurities, etc.). I get the feeling that 2008 is holding an expansion that many of us have been waiting for. I'm not sure what that is, but I feel like it will be very powerful and will be pivotal to each of our unique and individual mission, as bearers of the light.

I wish for you a wonderful new year. May you receive all the blessings, all the expansion and all the acceleration this new year has to offer.

Take a moment and completely savor that feeling of freshness and possibility that is coming to you at this very moment, and will continue throughout the new year.

Everyone has their version of the ‘way that it is’. We all find a way to define our world or reality. Once that is accomplished, we can form belief systems that will support our version of the ‘way that it is’. All of our life experiences pass through the fine mesh filters of our own beliefs to emerge on the other side as our truths.

Finding our own truth of the ‘way that it is’, can often take a lifetime. We embark on the journey of discovery and questioning: Who Am I? How did I get here? Why am I here? What is my purpose? This becomes the classic quest of our own eternal soul. And so our journey begins. The only challenge occurs when – through no fault of anyone – we question every­thing and everyone outside ourselves, in search of our answers. We may even think we find ‘the way that it is’ in a particular spiritual path, or different spiritual teachers. Then our belief says we have found the ‘way that it is’ and it is perfect.

That usually works – until we realize that we are still searching, still finding something not complete. We begin to question our path, our teachers, and everything else in our lives – only to remain questioning our own questions.

Once we discover that we are unable to find the answers outside of ourselves, we can begin to create a reality that works. This can become the framework of our conscious mind. We will perfect this ‘way that it is’ to make sure that everything fits, that all our questions are answered and that our life seems to work. We relax, feel secure in this reality and just know that we have this whole thing called ‘LIFE’ figured out. Now we have arrived – we can feel in control of ourselves and proud of our accomplishments. This is a very good point to begin.

However, if we become attached to the ‘way that it is’, we can become rigid in our own thoughts and ideas. Rather than feeling free and liberated, we become trapped in self-righteousness and spiritual arrogance. If this occurs, it may be quite awhile before we realize that we are not experiencing any new growth, new insights, new creations – we are stuck in the reality of our fixed self. The reality of this new life circumstance then begins our search for the space of knowing and not knowing – the simultaneous existence of being in the moment and remaining flexible for change and choice. When this happens, we are reminded to become spiritually fluid.

We can not begin our experience on this planet to grow, expand into the vastness of our soul’s vision, discover who we are as multidimensional Divine beings, and use that discovery to serve our planet and its’ inhabitants until we become fluid. After all, how can we remain in the old version of the ‘way that it is’ when everything around us is constantly changing and moving? And – how do we recognize that we are stuck?

The first indicator comes when we find we have a need to be right. Being right has been important in some arenas, because it ensures us a position of power and approval. The need for approval - based on some of our old programs - translates to our feeling accepted and loved; which in turn means that we are not alone. This is how important being right can be for some. This is also how we can get stuck in the energy of our old ‘way’.

The planet Pluto enters Capricorn 25 January 2008, occupying zero degrees Capricorn, until 13 June 2008 when it goes back into Sagittarius at 28 and 29 degrees until the end of November 2008. This may seem like too much arithmetic, but you can look at your horoscope wheel to identify if transiting Pluto will affect any Capricorn planets in your chart.

Last article was fairly general, so this month we talk about late Sagittarius and early Capricorn people and how Pluto will influence you. If you were born on the 20, 21 or 22 of December any year, this means you.

If you are a Sagittarius, born either December 20 or 21, Pluto began influencing you on the first of December 2007 and is active through 26 January 2008. He will affect you again between 15 June 2008 and 28 November 2008.

If you are a Capricorn, born either December 21 or 22, you begin a cycle of Pluto’s intensity 25 January through 14 of June 2008, then again between 28 November 2008 and 26 December 2008 and yet again between 2 August and 18 October 2008.

This transit is called a conjunction, which means Pluto and the Sun in your horoscope are conjoined, or exactly together in the sky. In actuality, a planet cannot physically be exactly beside another because of the millions of miles between them but they are in the same place in the sky as seen from earth.

Pluto is intense and unrelenting, pushing you to accomplish something important. Pluto urges you to accomplish great things and you are full of energy, are focused and determined. Pluto transforms what it touches. Transformation means to change or go across form and this transit means you and your personality. Whatever is ready to symbolically die does so. This could be a good time for therapy, because you are ready to face the parts of yourself you have pushed down that you did not want to face. Now these personality traits and even skeletons in your closet come to the surface to be transformed. It is a good time to realize they are not nearly as awful as you thought all these years and can easily forgive yourself and others.

This type of transit means you can be the force for change. There is caution: you are to push to change yourself, not others! Trying to push others to change could create opposition from them and you could be defeated. Keep personal transformation on yourself. Pluto demands involvement and cooperation; notice it demands! If you are experiencing resistance, slow down and reflect how you are treating others; they want to be part of the process and be treated with respect.

The good expression of this transit is you are full of energy and are determined and persistent. You have what it takes to be involved in the transformation or regeneration of outmoded ways of doing things, either in your work, your projects or in an organization. If it is the right time to be involved in the tearing down of the old, even buildings, the process will go easily. If that structure is still viable or you experience resistance, it means it is not time to change. Let it go.

Sagittarius may be urged to travel to discover areas of past-life experiences, thereby understanding and transforming oneself. Sagittarius may suddenly become interested in government or politics and would be an important person in that group, as long as you cooperate. One trait of Sagittarius that is not in the books, but which I have realized, is Sagittarians are peacemakers who don’t like confrontation or discord and will work to bring peace to the group via consensus. Whatever Sagittarius becomes involved in during this time will experience peace and Sagittarius’ ability to expand others’ minds.

Capricorn may be urged to begin a new activity or start a new company or department that will have long-lasting usefulness. You are the time-keeper of the zodiac, meaning you are patient in planning and understand how long it takes to build a solid foundation. You may find Scorpio people important in advising the financial investment facet of your project. This new foundation could be a family, a business or even retirement.

Another caution is you must do something now. When you decide to be passive, (passivity is a decision!) this strong a transit indicates circumstances or people will do the change for you if you ignore it. Better you do it for yourself and be the victor instead of allowing others to dictate your life, making you feel like a victim. You must act. Unfortunately, passively doing nothing when change is due can result in illness because the energy of the transit is turned inwards.
