After working all my adult life in one area of corporate life or another, we moved 8 years ago to our little "Farm". Life here was great, when I could get away from the corporate life enough to enjoy it. Trying to find a way to sustain ourselves in retirement here was our challenge.

I have had an interest in natural medicine for almost 40 years. I had always been drawn toward the natural way of doing things. Making balms and salves has been a part of my life for most of those years. Learning at the feet of my grandmother and Indian grandfather gave me a great base to work from. Progressing into using this base to grow our own herbs, dry them, make infusions and then use these infusions for the making of gentle, but effective cosmetics is now my "line" of work. I now have a very lucrative business in the Handmade Soap and Toiletries Industry.

Have you had the sense recently that many who are on the spiritual path are experiencing an increase in their daily challenges and traumatic events? It appears that all one needs to do is consider what the most frightening experience would be, and into our life that fear appears all dressed up and ready to assist us with our spiritual growth and development. Whatever the situation or challenge, the experience of fear or lack is provided. Our life has been designed in a very clever manner by our Higher Self to help us maximize our "Earth Experience" which Gary Zukav labeled "Earth School."

I often remind myself that these experiences are orchestrated and planned by none other than myself, Spirit, and my spiritual angelic advisors. The question for my Higher Self is "Are you sure I participated in this process?" This question is frequently surfaces when I face, what society would label, challenges or threats to my security. I provide spiritual support to my clients, and I find myself offering reassurance to them and myself, that our current experiences are all part of the ascension process.

Ascension is the process of becoming enlightened, conscious of our choices in everyday life, and functioning at a higher level of vibration, which is love not fear. We, as a part of Humanity, are waking up and consciously claiming our birthright as a co-creator. This waking up encompasses consciously choosing and using our ability to embrace all aspects of our self, creating that which we Desire. We are creating from our Heart not our ego or intellect. We are the conduits for the ascension process.

When I marry a couple, I have a unique point of view: I see their faces, observe their body language, watch the way they relate to each other, their loved ones and to me. Some are totally connected to each other and oblivious to everyone else; some are giving instructions, (orders) even as they exchange their vows; some are totally conscious; many are in another world; some on another planet.

Ammachi (Mata Amritanandamayi) says, in one of her books, that it was always her hope to say to a student "You are God," and recognizing the truth of that, she or he became That I Am, God.

I read of a Chinese peasant of earlier times who, running an errand in the city, overheard a statement of truth and was instantly enlightened. He became a great Zen master.

Mafu and other teachers say that judgment is the only thing which keeps us from complete enlightenment. If we are told we are part of God and we go No way, I'm just human, I'm not worthy, What would my friends think, I can't just be it, yada yada yada, then we are holding back our experience of truth. We've all done this, haven't we?

Well, how to allow enlightenment? First I think to love, honor and embrace where we find ourselves, for that is our starting point. Then, open up our minds and hearts as best we may to ever-greater allowance of what we see and feel in ourselves and others. Open to the love of God. Expand our vision, our point of view, our love.

Three years ago a Naturopathic doctor wrote me about one of the natural supplements that I handle. He wanted me to send him samples. This doctor was from Pakistan where they have a much more open acceptance of Natural Medicine. I stepped back in faith and send him ample supply for a six month trial. Within one month he had ordered 40 one-month supplies. His customers were helped immensely with this product. Each and every one of our products is hand picked by Dr. Tanveer before transport here. We know who makes them and make sure that they are receiving a decent wage in doing so.

Our next step is building a factory of our own in Pakistan with the best artisans we can find to make new and innovative instruments that no one else will have.

Which of us hasn't dreamt of finding and keeping our perfect relationship? What if we are in a partnership that is confusing and always changing? How do we cope with the loss and heartache relationships can sometimes bring? What if we don't seem to be attracting any kind of intimate interactions at all?

The working dynamics of good relationships are for many of us one of the greatest mysteries of life. It is a secret each of us seeks to unravel from the day we are aware there is more than one of us around. Why do interpersonal interactions -- something we are all engaged in every day, every minute, every second of our lives -- sometimes seem so challenging, complicated, confusing, difficult, and mysterious?

The quality of our partnerships with others actually reflects the quality of the relationships we have with ourselves. Do we know who we are, and do we like who that is? Do we believe we are worthy and deserve unconditional love? While we may know how we would like someone to love us, do we love ourselves that way already? Do we trust and accept all parts of ourselves? The bottom line for most all of us is we simply would like to be loved and accepted for who we are, for our real selves.

As we change our inner definition or template of our male and female selves to a place of balance and self-acceptance, we are able to attract someone who is more reflective of our true counterpart. Even if we are balanced with our inner masculine reflection, if we do not like our own femininity, we would be unable to create a truly balanced relationship for ourselves.

The task of any relationship is always to find and understand ourselves. The only true relationship we have is the one we have with ourselves. Everything else, every other interaction, is simply a reflection. As long as we resist being our natural, balanced selves -- the real us -- we continue to attract relationships that will serve to remind us of what and who we are not. Resisting who we are usually attracts relationships that are unfulfilling. By being fully and completely who we are, we attract relationships that reflect back to us the fullness of our creative being. It is the age old adage: What we put out is what we get back.

Tithing has been the subject of many religious orders for eons of time. The idea that if we give away part of our earnings that it will multiply and return to us, is also Biblical. But what really happens when we tithe and what are the mechanics behind the giving.

Through my personal experiences with finances I have come to realize at even deeper levels recently just how profound a tithe can be.

First I know many of us are tithing but that many are still in straits for money.

Consider: Are the tithes going to places to help others where your name is not well known?

Why would this be important? There has been a tendency to tithe to others because "they are on the spiritual path." While I am certainly NOT saying don't tithe to your spiritual path or to people who have given you insights - I am saying consider a tithe in a direction once in awhile where you are in no way associated with the organization. This can reduce any contamination of your intention.

Sit comfortably in a chair and practice a deep breathing meditation. Bring to your remembrance a time when you felt overwhelmed with joy and you felt great love in your heart. Perhaps it was a Christmas when you received something you had longed for... Perhaps it was when you came home today and wrapped your arms around your child... or saw your 4 legged friend waiting for you at the door. Just let your attention remain fixed on the feelings that you remember that brought you this great joy and love.

Now bring your attention to something that concerns you in this world. Perhaps it is the women in shelters or the children with them who have not much, perhaps it is a local orphanage... or humane society. Let your attention go to where you feel there is a need.

Once you have identified that area of need in the world - then see yourself writing out a check to send to them. Maybe it is for 10 dollars or maybe it is for 1000 dollars - it does not matter. Just feel the feelings of giving to that organization or people and feel what it is like to know you are helping them.

Then write your check and send it to them.

With many planets retrograde (appearing to move backwards), and the spiritual energy levels being increased, many people have been feeling crazy, stopped, or stressed. Starting now, we are can map the next years and expect to manifest our dreams. There is still some packing (learning and intuiting more), and clearing to do but this can be accomplished by practicing BEING IN THE NOW and meditating on what we wish to manifest. If necessary, ask Spirit to help you define your destiny and dreams-be ready to feel the empowerment.

Most of all, lightworkers are encouraged to self-nurture and to prosper. There is no need to stay impoverished. Incubate the changes you wish to make by seeing, hearing, and feeling the manifestations before you sleep at night. As you go to sleep, ask for details about how to accomplish these manifestations.

Above all, this is the time to LISTEN TO INTUITIONS. Do not let an intuition be ignored-assume that messages are arriving daily in both simple and complex forms. Trust your experience of the NOW and LIVE CONNECTED WITH SPIRIT.
