Revelations

1. Have kindly thoughts toward the founders of religions because they lived at a time when neither telescopes nor microscopes nor even magnifying glasses existed. They thus knew nothing of the vastness and age of the universe or of the infinite variety of microscopic life. They lacked the equipment to observe the boundless diversity of animal, fish and plant life under all the oceans. They believed the world was flat. They lived before the invention of printing. Their homes were in remote areas, often the desert with its hardship and meditative loneliness. Most of their early followers were illiterate and never traveled in a lifetime more than a day's walk from their village. Thus, everyone was unaware there were hundreds of thousands of animals, insects and plants. The idea of evolution never occurred to them. Nevertheless, all of those religions devised various explanations of creation, but without even suggesting that the first humans had animal ancestors.

2. There is no Satan, devil, bad angels or evil spirits. There is no hell, limbo or purgatory, and there is no original sin.

3. When animals are cruel or selfish, religions have not found it necessary to assert that the animals are sinful or giving into temptations of a devil. No, instead, religions have said that God made animals think of their own survival. Animals are doing what their minds and bodies indicate to be the best for them. That survival conduct became part of their genes. Human behavior is also genetically programmed. Undesirable, bad, mean or cruel human conduct means that the individual has not yet learned to control those biologically inherited impulses.

4. We have great potential ability, yet no one knows how to access or utilize it. A few people have reached some of that power for a brief moment, during a great emergency, and perhaps a mystic or saintly person has been able to touch it. Once you learn to control all your antisocial animal instincts, and you have practiced and perfected love, charity, compassion and forgiveness to the point that you would never abuse this additional mental ability, at that moment, it will come. You can then use that ability for good in the world. Furthermore, you will start enjoying heaven right here on earth.

The author explains that numerous individuals throughout the world are being inspired to proclaim those same four messages:

"There is no devil--it is our inherited animal instinct that urges us to be antisocial."

"Every person is wholly capable of unlocking his or her inside goodness. There is virtually no limit to the good that can be unlocked in humans, and a person's goal should be to approach a God-like, Christ-like, or Buddha-like status."

"Everyone can become a living saint. To do so requires mastery of one's antisocial animal instincts and development of unconditional love, charity, forgiveness and compassion."
