This photo of the roof of my home shows the closeness of the ocean. Here is where I welcomed the millennium, with no worry about Y2K.  It is no exaggeration; the ocean is less than 30 feet away from my house, which is only one foot higher than high tide.  When I meditate on my front porch, I look at the neighboring island three miles away. The second mountain range is four thousand feet high, and rich with gold. Very often those mountain peaks are shrouded with clouds while our little island basks in the sun.  A favorite meditation place: a 100 feet high Bodhi-like tree with its maze of aerial roots.  We enjoy six spices of bougainvillaea plants, each with different beautiful colors.  We have comfortable relaxed living inside our island home.  Sunset Point consist of 12 acres of private lawns and lush vegetation, the ideal place for meditation. |
