On Sep 15th: we meet In London's Heathrow Airport. You and your luggage are taken via bus or van to Glastonbury, to check-in, freshen-up, have “tea,” a welcoming orientation dinner with your hosts, and a good nights rest! We will spend 3 nights in our Glastonbury accommodations keeping packing and repacking to a minimum. Sep 16th: we walk to the Tor and drink from Chalice Well in Glastonbury, the heart of Avalon, and take in the colorful town steeped in mythical tradition, legend and wonderful shops. Sep 17th: finds us driving to Avebury, where the traditional relationship of Celtic Druids with these 4000 year old monuments and Stonehenge is deeply rooted in the lore of Britain. A dusk ceremony at Stonehenge reveals its ancient secrets.
Sep 20th: finds us saying good bye to those who will leave our tour. The rest of us will be traveling north to Scotland, picking up new tour members, resting on the banks of Loch Lomond to catch our breath, then on to Crinan/Lochgilphead and its henges where we spend 2 nights. AUTUMN EQUINOX Sep 21st: will find us celebrating and participating in our own special ceremony at a very powerful vortex. Sep 22nd: ferry across to Iona, a sacred island where it has been said Christianity started and many Kings of England rest. We spend the night near the famous Abbey. ![]() Sep 23rd: driving further north to the Isle of Skye... the name says it all - magical, musical, a place for meditation and manifestation, then to Uig, the point where we ferry across to the Isle of Lewis. Sep 24th: we awake in Harris on Lewis and take in the local henges as we prepare for Scotland's Megaliths: the standing stones of Callanish! Sep 25th: we take in the land and make ready for the ceremony and dance at a dusk entry to Callanish. Sep 26th: we ferry to Ullapool and south to Inverness, where the famed Loch Ness legend springs! Will we find Nessie? Sep 27th: we drive through the breath-takingly beautiful Lake Regions and stay the night on Loch Tay. ![]() Sep 28th: finds us arriving in Edinburgh and exploring famed Rosslyn Chapel. We spend our last night of the Tour enjoying dinner and our closing ceremony together. Sep 29th: on the road once again, with one last glance to old Scotland, before we head to Glasgow Airport to depart for the “new world....” |
